As you can see from my address I work for the Imperial War museum. I already have a cry for help. Can anyone help with drawings of the Russian 203mm tracked artillery gun from WW2? I look after the large collection of aircraft and vehicles that belong to the IWM, so if I can help please ask. Regards Jack Tankette Vol.9 No.2 had a four-view plan in 1/76 and several photos of a 203mm M1935 howitzer, drawn by Steve Zaloga in 1972. Extensive work on improving location by various newly developed electronic and other sensors is going on. Suitable vehicles are being placed on ranges and in "urban" type situations, so that RAF crews can fly missions to practise trying to locate these types of vehicles. This placing of vehicles cannot be done in your average Barratt estate for fear of upsetting the neighbours, hence the use of scattered RAF bases. Regards Nick Balmer I recall that a number of Duxford's vehicles were hired out to a UK agency a couple of years ago for such purposes. Apparently, in these days of cross-charging and profit centres, it is cheaper to get military vehicles from civilian sources than from the UK military.
