I think green but if any body has a better definition than green (or any other colour), I would appreciate their help Cheers Karl According to Zaloga in "Tank War Central Front" (Osprey Elite 26), the post-war Soviet green (known officially as Olive Drab No.2) is close to FS34077. From the late 1980s, camouflage patterns became more common, with sprayed on patches of light sand and black. If so, have you had the chance to use it and what do you think? What does the usual 'surface' come up like and is there any way to thicken/thin the substance to get different effects? I think we should be told! Dan Alas, although I have some of both the 500 and the 1000, I have used neither as yet, due to lack of modelling activity since purchase. Anyone else care to answer this one? Robert -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) From: Dave Trotman [DTrotman@city.barrie.on.ca] Subject: Signals trucks Do you know of any plastic model kits of any scale of the radio trucks used by the Royal Corps of Signals during WWII in North Africa and/or Italy? I'd really like to make one for my Dad, who served there, but I do not know the make, model or production years of the trucks that were used. I am guessing, perhaps Leyland, but that just a guess. Any information, advice or direction you can give me would be most appreciated. If there are kits in production or past production and are generally available in England, I could have my Uncle from Chard bring one over to Canada this summer in mid July. He will be here on holiday commencing mid July.
