September 2026 meeting review

The September APMA meeting did not disappoint. Again topping more than 100 models on the table. The themes included carriers & carrier aircraft and rockets & missiles. Alongside these themes the was the general display and a special display of interesting unbuilt kits.

Tudor Goode gave an interesting and thought provoking presentation on ‘EMU’ the Experimental Military Unit. He relayed the story of this relatively unknown collaboration between the 135th US Army Assault Helicopter Company and RAN aviators during the vietnam war.
